Biophilic Set Design
We were asked by a corporate client to create a biophilic set design for a presentation to an international beverage company.
Brief - To create a Green Coffee Shop Haven
After submitting visual and written designs to our client with a mix of plants both bought, for future use within their premises and on loan, we worked hard to re-create the vibe of our retail shop in Wilmslow, but in Yorkshire rather than Cheshire!
As coffee was a key component we sought inspiration from both the tropics and high desert plains of South America, primarily with lush green planting alongside succulents from the arid high mountains. Numerous extra large Palms, Dracaenas and many more, were transported and placed strategically, within a carefully planned design working alongside the client. The presentation room was divided into different zones where various parts of the presentation would take place.
The overall effect was a dramatic transformation of a relatively modest break out area within a large office complex into a cool, lush slice of tropical utopia that felt welcoming and calm, setting the ideal backdrop for a successful event.
